A Boy Pierced In Neck By Iron Spike

It was a sunny Monday morning. A group of boys were playing a game of football in a field. Excitement and cheers filled the air as the boys scrambled to kick the ball into the goalpost. After an hour or so, they rested under a shady tree. Then one of the boys, Alan, went out of the field and approached a wealthy man’s luxurious home. Then something caught his attention. There were bunches of ripe, juicy rambutans high up in the rambutan tree. He wanted to pluck them as he was hungry.

Seeing no one around, he climbed the fence. He missed his step and slipped. He became impaled on an iron spike. He was screaming in pain. The spike pierced his neck and came out of his mouth. He was bleeding from his mouth. His cries attracted the attention of the owner, Mr. Pang. He was taken aback when he saw Alan’s plight. He contacted the Fire Service.

Rescue workers cut a section of the fence and rushed Alan to hospital. Alan was in a serious condition. Doctors worked frantically to remove the spike from Alan’s mouth. Alan was conscious throughout the ordeal. Alan’s parents kept their fingers crossed as they awaited the outcome of the operation. The operation turned out to be successful. Alan was lucky to be alive.
