A Fierce Fight

I was a dinosaur. My name was Hugy. I used to describe myself as a big grey dinosaur. Each day, I ventured into the forest to look for food. I liked to eat all sorts of plants growing in the forest. I was by nature a herbivorous animal. Sometimes I came across dangerous situations such as being confronted by another dinosaur. As a result, we would usually end up in a fight.

Once, I got into a fight with another much larger and tougher dinosaur. It happened on one bright and sunny morning when I went to the forest to have my breakfast as usual.

I was confronted by another dinosaur named Clomber. He attacked me violently but I managed to hit it back with my powerful tail. He did not fall. Instead, he held on to my tail and bit it hard! I managed to shake my tail off and ran as fast as I could.

The huge dinosaur became more aggressive and gave chase. I felt myself getting heavier and heavier. I slowed down a bit until my enemy came very close to me.

Suddenly, I stopped running and turned round to face it eye to eye. When Clomber was near, I hit it hard with my tail This time, Clomber collapsed with a loud crash and lost its consciousness.

I did not want Clomber to pester me again, so I decided to kill it to save myself from any trouble in the future. “Slam!”, went my tail again.

“Ha, Ha....” I roared with joy as I was walking away triumphantly.
