A Park

A park spreads before my three-room apartment. It appears to me like my very own garden.

A huge expanse of greenery meets my eyes whenever I flip open the louvred windows of the flat.

I love to peer outside every now and then. Joggers, housewives and school children are scattered about in the park. Its undulating ground gives the place a gentle hilly appearance. Beautiful flowers grow in small corners. Gravelled paths have been laid around the park for use by joggers and cyclists. Teenage boys play soccer in the middle of the park where there is a small field. A few trees grow about the park area. There are also hedges and bushes.Wooden benches are scattered about.

The park given us many pleasures. In an urban society, it is necessary for people to have a clean, green place close by to walk or jog in or just to sit so as to appreciate more of nature and to breathe in fresher air. It is a great place for children to play together too.

In urban societies, I believe parks have become a necessary feature.
