Autobiography of a Comb

I am a comb. I was made in a factory far away from town The factory was located near the sea. When I was first bom, I saw fha I was light green in colour. I am quite ordinary in appearance Unlike my more fanciful rivals, the brushes, they can be quite vain with their multi-coloured handles and bristles. In fact, they think they are the real beauties in the entire comb factory.

Once born, I was placed in a plastic covering and put into a box with many of my good comb friends. Soon, the van we were in started to move.

When we saw daylight again, I was placed together with some other types of combs in a display case. I stayed in there for a long time.

One day, a young boy bought me. My master kept me in his back pocket together with his wallet. However, on his way back.he pulled out his wallet without realizing that I had fallen out.Here I lay now in the grass, staring up at the sky. Maybe the boy would come back for me – one day.
