PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing Model Answer (100–150 words)
Subject : Commendation for Your Sales
Dear Mr Ong,
I am writing to inform you about the excellent service provided by your sales assistant, Tammy.
On 15 August 2020, at about 10 a.m., I bought a storybook from your shop. When I unwrapped it at home at 12 p.m., I realised that several pages were torn.
At 2 p.m. on the same day, I returned to the shop to exchange the damaged book for a new one. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring along my receipt because I was in a hurry.
Despite this, Tammy remained patient and helpful. She remembered serving me earlier that morning and even recalled that I had bought the book as a birthday gift for my friend. She kindly allowed me to exchange it for a new copy without any difficulty.
Thank you for having such an outstanding employee.
Yours sincerely,
Linda
