PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing Model Answer (100–150 words)
To: Mr Muthu
Subject: Compliment for Excellent Customer Service
Dear Mr Muthu,
I am writing to compliment one of your salespersons for the excellent customer service I received at the Happy Feet shoe shop, Parkway branch, on 3 October 2023 at about 11 a.m.
The salesperson who assisted me was James. As I was trying to find a comfortable pair of shoes, I took quite a long time to make my choice. In fact, I tried on ten pairs of shoes over a period of about half an hour.
Despite this, James remained cheerful, patient and helpful throughout. He willingly brought me different pairs of shoes and assured me that he would help me find the right one. My mother and I were impressed by his positive attitude and excellent service.
Please convey my appreciation to James for his outstanding work.
Yours sincerely,
Amy
