Graffiti Enraged Teacher

It was eight am. A teacher, Mrs. Lim, was in a Primary five class She was teaching Science. After she had given the class written assignment, she walked round the classroom. Two mischievous pupils, Paul and Tony, were seated at the back of the class. Paul sat besides Tony. Their desks were full of graffiti which were offensive to anyone The graffiti ranged from ‘Go To Hell’ to ‘You Are A Witch’. They had carved these graffiti onto their wooden desks with their pen-knives over the last two months. They did so without the knowledge of their teacher.

At this juncture, Mrs. Lim walked past them. They were behaving suspiciously. She sensed something amiss. She then spotted Tony perspiring profusely. He was trying to cover up the desk with a file and mind that the boy must have been up to some mischief. She decided to investigate. She asked Tony to stand aside while she examined the desk. She flew into a rage on seeing the graffiti. The desk was badly scarred and unsightly. Tony’s desk revealed gratiti like ‘Fat And Ugly’. She scolded Tony and asked him to pay for the damages to the desk. Tony became hysterical and asked for forgiveness. At this time, Paul’s face turned pale and tried to walk away. Mrs. Lim stopped him. On examining his desk, she found that it was filled with gratiti. Mrs. Lim could not condone his mischievous acts. Paul, too, had to pay compensation for the damaged desk.
