How would you set about stopping war in the worid?

HOW WOULD YOU SET ABOUT STOPPING WAR IN THE WORLD

The natural disasters that devastate the world from time to time indeed take millions of lives. In addition, the destruction caused by earthquakes, typhoons, tidal waves and volcanic eruptions are indeed tremendous. But no matter how much destruction is carried out by nature, it is but a fraction of the destruction caused by man: through war. It is a disgrace to call man a civilized being when he chooses to wage war and cause misery to millions. War must be stopped, and the process of stopping wars must be from many angles at the same time.

Discoveries about the working of the human mind have brought out irrefutable proof that everything starts in the mind. Wars too begin in the minds of people. The first point that I will begin with is education of children. I will reorganize the entire education of the world. I will rewrite history books to show that war is a shameful thing. The books will show the negative aspects of war and at the same time I will eradicate all pride in countries, political systems and races. What I will promote is pride in the peaceful achievements of the human race. I will make the children get obsessed with the idea that there is only one race – the human race and only one land, earth

One cause of war is when a country does not have enough of something it needs. We see from history that wants create wars; yet the earth is abundant. We see people starving in Africa and farmers burning crops in Europe — in order to get good prices for them. The food shortage is a matter of distribution. If the whole world learns to take care of all people then there will not be shortage. What the so-called less developed countries are contributing to the world ranges from simple things like the weather and ccological balance. At first sight we might wonder if this is true. But when we consider that it is the rain forest of one region that keeps the world alive, we will see that this region does have an ‘invisible’ export— a priceless one. Yet they starve and the richer half of the world keeps admonishing them about maintaining their forests. If the richer half of the world can be educated to think that the starving half is also part of them, then there will be no more shortage and a great cause for war will be removed.

With the world shrinking as it is, because of rapid communication, the time is not long to go before we begin thinking of the world as one country — without borders. When that becomes a reality, there will be no more wars. To attain this, the measures I have proposed will be workable.
