PSLE Situational Writing (Grade A1 Model Answer)
To: Mdm Li
Subject: Incident During Our Group Task at Diana's House
Dear Mdm Li,
I am writing to inform you about an incident that took place at Diana's house on 21 June 2021 while our group was completing a holiday assignment.
Kaleb was unhappy with Diana for two reasons. First, she had used a picture from the Internet even though we were supposed to draw our own pictures. Second, he felt that submitting such work would not reflect our best effort, especially after he had spent many hours completing his part of the task.
Diana responded by saying that she did not have enough time to draw her own picture and suggested that we submit the work anyway. She also felt that Kaleb was being unreasonable.
I approached Kaleb and Diana because I wanted to remind them of the importance of doing our best in group tasks, as you had often emphasised. I also felt that you should be informed about the incident.

Step 1: Identify PAF (Purpose, Audience, Format)
Purpose
To inform Mdm Li about an incident that occurred during a group task.
Audience

Format
Formal Email.
Because you are writing to a teacher, use a respectful and formal tone.
Step 2: Highlight All Required Content Points

Step 5: Use Strong A1 Vocabulary
Simple Word : A1 Vocabulary
