PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing Model Answer (100–150 words)
Subject: Join Our Team for the Lion City Race
Dear Sam,
How are you? I am writing to invite you to join Sally and me in the Lion City Race Team Challenge. The competition will be held at Coco Beach on 21 August 2020.
Sally is already in the team. She is an excellent swimmer and recently came in first in a competition. Since each team must consist of three swimmers, we would love you to be our third member.
You should join us because you are a strong swimmer who enjoys challenges. With your skills, our team will have a better chance of winning. The winning team will receive an NTUC voucher worth $300.
Before the competition, the three of us can train together at Pine Swimming Complex, where it is usually not too crowded.
I hope you will join us. Please reply soon.
Yours sincerely,
Josh
Word Count: 130
