My Favourite Person In My Family

There are four members in my family. They are my father, my mother, my sister and I. I have a happy family although my parents are both working and they are very busy. We only get to spend time together during the weekends but sometimes, we do not even see them during the weekends because they might have gone overseas on business.

I am closest to my elder sister and she is also my favourite person in my family. My sister is two years older than I and she is in Secondary Two this year. She is not very prettyr but she is quite sweet looking. She has short and neat hai and she wears spectacles like me. She is quite short for he age and she is quite slim too.

My sister is very intelligent and she studies very hard too. She is very kind and helpful. She likes all kinds of animals and she is always trying to save stray cats or dogs.She is also a volunteer with the SPCA. My sister is also very tidy and she does most of the housework at home if my mother is too busy. She is also quite a good cook and she has taught me how to prepare simple meals if I happen to be alone.

Although I am a boy, I get along extremely well with my sister. We always try to go out together. Once, when I was sick, she had to take care of me as my parents were overseas.She is also very patient with me and she often helps me with my schoolwork. She is my favourite person because she is always around when I need help or when I need someone to talk to.

However, my sister has one fault. She is very slow in whatever she does. Sometimes, I have to wait for her for ages when we are preparing to go out. We usually go to the beach at East Coast to roller blade or ride bicycles. We go to the beach at least once a week because we live quite near to it. We also like to go to the cinema together, although I do not really like the kinds of movies that she likes. I like movies that are full of action whereas she prefers romances or comedies. She also likes to bring me to the library where she would make sure I borrow good books to read.

I am really fortunate to have such a loving and caring sister. I hope I would be a good younger brother to her. I aim to do well in my studies so that she would be proud of me. I hope we would always stay close as brother and sister.
