My Favourite TV Or Movie Actor/Actress

I do not normally watch television because I do not have the time. However, my parents do bring us to the movies quite regularly, at least once a fortnight. Sometimes, they would rent laser discs or videos for us to watch if we happened to miss the screening of a movie because we have tests or examinations.

I have a few favourite movie actors and actresses but my most favourite among them is Arnold Swcharznegger. I call him Arnie for short, and I am a big fan of his because Jove action movies. Arnie usually acts in action movies because he is very muscular and strong. Arnie was born in Austria but he is living in America now. He was a bodybuilder before he became an actor and he had won many prizes when he was a bodybuilder. Arnie is not very handsome but he has amazing muscles and he is quite tall too.

I enjoyed most of his movies because they are all full of action and suspense. Arnie usually plays the hero and he is always going after the evil guys. However, there is one movie where Arnie plays the bad guy, and that movie is ‘Terminator’. The movie is set in the future and he plays a robot who is part of a future group of robotic army at war with humans. In the movie’s sequel, ‘Terminator 2’ however, Arnie plays a good robot that was sent to destroy an evil robot.

Arnie has also appeared in comedies like ‘Kindergarten Cop’ and ‘Twins’. I did not like ‘Twins’ but I thought Kindergarten Cop’ was very funny. Arnie plays a detective who has to disguise himself as a kindergarten teacher to solve a case. Some people feel that Arnie is quite wooden in his acting, but I think he is quite good. I enjoy all the stunts that are usually part of any of Arnold Swcharznegger’s action movies. He can also be quite comical sometimes even though he is usually the hero or one of the main characters of the show. In fact, Arnie can play a villain very well too.One example of Arnie playing a villain is when he played Mr Freeze in one of the ‘Batman’ movies. I also like Arnie because he seems to be a nice person even though he is a movie star. He goes around America as a health representative to talk to young people in America about the dangers of smoking. He has also volunteered his service to many charities in America. I hope he will visit Singapore soon so that I can get to meet him. Perhaps I might be able to go to America to see him when I am older.
