My Grandpa

My Grandpa is a fovial man with a wrinkled face, bushy eyebrows, hazel eyes and a long white beard. He has grey hair and fair skin.

Grandpa is a kind, patient and humorous man. Besides,he always shows his concern, care and love for anyone around.Very often, I admire his broad smile hanging every now and then on his face.

These were some of the incidents when Grandpa displayed his care and love for me. I was going home from my friend's house after doing my science project one day. Suddenly,a boy appeared from nowhere, snatched my latest 'Gameboy and ran away. I was stunned. When I reached home to tell my parents about it, they scolded me good and proper for being bank, withdrew some money and bought me a new Pokemon Gameboy set the next day. I was overjoyed. I, of course, careless. Grandpa, however, did something else. He went to the promised him to be more careful the next time.

The other day, I was doing my homework. I was really puzzled with some problem sums. My Grandpa saw my confused look and asked me what had happened. After knowing all my problem and difficulty, he patiently taught me an effective way to solve them.

Other than that, Grandpa is rather humorous. Once, he told me that when he was in school, his team won the District Soccer Tournaments. I was about to praise him for his superb performance when he confessed that there were only three teams taking part in the tournaments. I roared with laughter till tears flowed out of my eyes!

Over the weekends, he would make it a point to bring me out. We would go to the beach where we would cycle around the beach on our rented bicycles. After cycling, my appetite would increase and we would usually have a delicious lunch at a nearby food centre.

My Grandpa has taught me valuable lessons in life. For that, I will like to express my heartfelt gratitude to him. Thank you, Grandpa!
