My Three Wishes

When we make wishes, we often want them to come true. If I could have three wishes, the first wish I would want to make is for me to have a billion dollars. I would be able to do so many things to help people if I had a billion dollars.I would give some of the money to charity especially to the SPCA. I would also be able to buy a big house for my family and to buy another house to take in all the stray cats on the streets. My parents can still continue working but they need not worry about not making enough money to support us.

I guess I could try to make my first wish come true by working very hard now and get good results for my exams.Hopefully, I would be able to get a good job in future and earn lots of money. Then, perhaps I can save enough money but I would have to save a long time to get a billion dollars!

My second wish is for Singapore to have cooler weather and for it to snow in Singapore. I do not like the hot weather in Singapore and I like snow very much. However, it could be quite inconvenient for many people if snow were to fall in singapore one day. It would be so wonderful if we get snow during Christmas. Then, I would be able to build snowmen and have snowball fights with my friends. Of course, I do not think this wish of mine would ever come true, although the weather in Singapore does get cooler during the monsoon season. But it will never snow in Singapore, unless there is a freak weather condition.

I do not think I can do anything to make my second wish come true. The weather is controlled by nature and there is nothing much we can do to control nature.

My third wish is to travel to another planet or to another galaxy. I have always been fascinated by the stars and by space travel. I really wish that one day, we would be able to be passengers on a spaceship like how we can be passengers on aeroplanes now. I hope that one day we would be able to tour outer space and stay on one of the planets as tourists from Earth.

I think I might just get my third wish fulfilled if I live long enough for space travel to be common. I will try to live a healthy life so that I can be strong enough to travel to outer space in future even if I am old person by then. I am not sure whether any of my three wishes would ever come true but I hope that I can have at least one of the wishes fulfilled. I guess the one that is most likely to come true would be my first wish but I would still be very happy if I can only have a million dollars.
