PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing Model Answer (100–150 words)
To: Mr Tan, Manager of Orchid Restaurant
Subject: Positive Feedback About Your Restaurant
Dear Mr Tan,
I am writing to commend the excellent service I received at Orchid Restaurant on 18 August 2020 at about 7 p.m. During my visit, a waitress named Pauline impressed me with her warm and enthusiastic attitude towards customers.
She provided outstanding service in two ways. First, she served every customer with genuine friendliness and made us feel welcome. Second, she quickly noticed a customer struggling to eat with chopsticks and promptly brought him a fork without being asked.
The customer looked relieved and thanked Pauline profusely for her thoughtful help. Besides the excellent service, the food was delicious and of high quality.
I would strongly recommend Orchid Restaurant to my friends and relatives because of its wonderful food and exceptional customer service.
Yours sincerely,
George
