Subject: Recommendation of Mr Sam for Employee of the Month

Dear Mr Halim,

I am writing to recommend your waiter, Mr Sam, for the Employee of the Month Award.

On 5 August 2022, my mother and I dined at Ginger Restaurant. During our meal, Mr Sam provided excellent service. My mother especially liked how he recommended the spaghetti, which turned out to be delicious. She also mentioned that he had been very attentive when we visited the restaurant previously.

What surprised me most was that Mr Sam served me a slice of cheesecake, my favourite dessert, free of charge. His thoughtful gesture made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

I believe Mr Sam deserves this award because he is attentive, friendly and always goes the extra mile to make customers feel welcome. His outstanding service reflects positively on the restaurant.

Thank you for considering my recommendation.

Yours sincerely,
Colin Teo
