PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing Model Answer (120–140 words)
Subject: Request for Donation of Snacks for VIA Activity
Dear Manager,
My name is Ken, a student from Greenfield Primary School. I am writing to request a donation of snacks from Angel Bakery for our class Values in Action (VIA) activity.
Our class will be visiting Joy Nursing Home on 25 September 2022 to spend time with the elderly residents. We chose Angel Bakery because we read that your bakery regularly donates bread and other food items to nursing homes. We admire your generosity and community spirit.
We would be grateful if your bakery could donate at least 30 servings of snacks for the residents. As many of them are elderly, healthy snacks would be preferred.
Could you please let us know if you are able to help by 4 September 2022? This will allow us enough time to make other arrangements if necessary.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Ken
