PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing (Email)

Subject: Suggestion for a Class Outing

Dear Mr Tan,

I would like to suggest visiting an animal shelter called Happy Zone for our class outing. I am making this suggestion because most of my classmates are animal lovers and would enjoy learning more about how rescued animals are cared for.

At the shelter, my classmates will see a variety of rescue animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters. They can also help by cleaning the animals’ living areas, which is a simple but meaningful task.

I believe this outing will benefit my classmates in two ways. First, it will teach us how to be responsible pet owners. Second, it will give those who do not have pets an opportunity to interact with animals and learn to care for them.

I hope you will consider my suggestion. Thank you for your time.

Yours sincerely,
Sally
