1. PSLE Grade A1 Situational Writing Sample (100–150 words)

To: Miss Teo
Subject: Suggestion for Drama Club Outing

Dear Mrs Teo,

I would like to suggest that the Drama Club members watch The Three Mice of Wallaby Town by The Talented Theatre.

The play is about three children who become close friends after going through several exciting and challenging experiences together. I believe our members should watch it because it may give us useful ideas for our annual school production and help us learn more about acting and stage presentation.

The play will be held at Broadway Hall on 11 May 2024 (Saturday). Since our club activities end by noon on Saturdays, we could have lunch together before attending the 2 p.m. show.

As our club has close to forty members, we qualify for a 20% discount on child tickets by booking twenty or more tickets as a school group.

Thank you for considering my suggestion. I look forward to your reply.

Yours sincerely,
Alex
