The Carpenter

Mr Lee is a carpenter. He is a tall man with slender fingers.He has a wife and three children.

Every moring, Mr Lee cycles to work. He has his own shop.It is called “Wood & Wood Limited.” Mr Lee employs two other assistant carpenters. As a carpenter, Mr Lee is highly skilled. He makes interesting picces of furniture which appear comfortable too. He builds cupboards, dressers, dining and living room furniture.

Although his shop is not big, business is good. This is because Mr Lee’s furniture has unique designs. He thinks of the designs himself, coming up with creative styles that many customers like.

Mr Lee learnt the art of carpentry from his late father. In an old garage, his father taught him how to make a wooden stool.The young Lee was so fascinated with woodwork that he constantly watched his father working in the garage. Soon, he learnt how to make small tables and chairs too.

After completing his “O’ levels, Mr Lee went on to take a course in carpentry. Today, he is a happy man. This is because he is making a living doing what he loves best.
