The Day Everything went Wrong

Early in the morning, I had my ear tweaked. It was my older sister. I was late again for school. I rushed to the bathroom but my father was using it. I could not ask my father to hurry, so I waited anxiously.

When my father came out, I rushed in only to slip on the wet floor. Fortunately, I did not hurt myself. In five minutes, I was ready to catch the bus. The bus-stop was crowded. When my bus arrived, it did not stop because it was too crowded with passengers. I was going to be very late. I decided to take a taxi. When I finally managed to hail one down, I discovered that I had not taken my pocket money. I had to get off the taxi then.

When I finally reached school, assembly was over and I was given demerit points for being late. I thought the overload of bad luck was finally over when I was seated comfortably in my chair. I was wrong. For when I turned to open my bag, I realised I had taken my brother’s bag by mistake. It was indeed an unfortunate day for me.
