The Seaside

The seaside is an interesting place. The sea itself is a source of wonder. Sometimes, the tide is high and sometimes, it is low. This is because of the rotation of the earth we live in.

Along the beach, seashells can be found. They are of sinteresting shapes and are of different sizes and colours. Children like to collect seashells. Seashells can be used for decorating your house. Children also use them to decorate the sandcastles they build on the beach.

Coconut trees grow along the sandy beach. The strong sea breeze makes the tall trees sway gently. A few coconuts bob up and down in the sea. If the water is clean, you can see beautiful corals on the seabed. Corals are living creatures.

Sometimes, you can see turtles crawling about on the beach.If you go to the seaside in Trengganu, a state in Malaysia, you can see turtles laying eggs in the sand. It is sad however to see man stealing these eggs and eating them.

The seaside never seems to cease in wonder.
