Both my father and mother are going on a long holiday to Egypt. They want to see the pyramids and guess what, they have agreed that you may come and stay with me for the holidays.

I am glad to extend to you an invitation to come and spend your holidays with me. Please write and inform me of your acceptance and the date you can come and so on. Just imagine, all that time to ourselves. What about that little pest, my brother? No problem, he is going to Malaysia to stay with our aunt, so it is only you and I in the house for a month.
