Write a story entitled ‘The Kidnappers’

The kidnappers got more than they bargained for when they kidnapped Robert. He was a three year old imp. They took him away from his baby sitter who was walking him along the road back from church. The baby sitter ran home crying and Robert’s mother did not called the police. His father said, “Let the kidnappers call the police. It is their problem.” Then the couple switched on the TV and started watching their favourite programme.

Robert was glad to be kidnapped. He thought it was a game. The kidnappers took him to their hideout and began making their telephone calls. Robert’s father refused to pay the ransom and in fact told the kidnappers they could keep the boy if they liked him so much. The kidnappers threatened to kill the boy and the father answered, ”Be careful, he might kill you.” Then he hung up the phone. Then it was the kidnappers turn to worry.

Their problems began when Robert began to ask for all sorts of things. He moved around the flat and broke everything that he saw and pulled people’s hair and refused to eat. In short, he was the naughtiest boy that the kidnappers had ever seen. By the end of the day, the kidnappers found that they had enough. Finally, they made a decision. They took Robert to his home and left him outside of it.

As if nothing had happened, Robert ran into the house and the baby sitter let out a sigh.
